WACA to Meet in the Indian Ocean Islands

The location for the 55th Annual General Assembly (AGA) of the World Airlines Clubs Association (WACA) will be in the Indian Ocean island of Mauritius from 18–23 September 2024. Tours to Réunion, Seychelles and Madagascar before or after the Assembly are also being arranged.

The theme of the AGA will be sustainability and it will be hosted by the Indian Ocean Islands Interline Club in collaboration with the Africa, Indian Ocean Islands and Middle East Region and the WACA Council with support from the Mauritian tourist and travel authorities.

In line with WACA tradition, the AGA will involve outreach and support for local charities. It will also include activities to promote international understanding, such as tours to historic and cultural places and a Regional Night where all countries represented display their cuisine and culture.
